Exquisite Shelties are PROUD to offer two litters this Christmas out of our Exquisite Captain Jack Sparrow aka "Sparrow" and our girls Castlemoon Silence Of The Lambs aka "Farrah" and Exquisite Chilly Mac aka "Chilly". These babies are hand raised IN OUR HOME with constant love and attention that is so imperative to Sheltie care. Long before there were Maltese or Maltipoos we were Sheltie people. I firmly believe that this is the breed that God gave humans as a gift. They aren't for everyone as their loud bark and shedding hair can make them a handfull but if you can get past that you will NOT find a better companion animal on this earth. Children and seniors in particular do well with Shelties. A sheltie would die in a minute to save a child. They are completely reliable IF WELL TRAINED. They need the intellectual stimulation of WORK and need training and constand companionship. You simply cannot raise a Sheltie in a yard. They MUST be indoor lifetime companions. They do NOT rehome well, so, if you plan on adopting a sheltie you must be committed to the 13 to 15 years that they will live. Once they've bonded with you it's absolutely cruel to move them from your home. This makes Shelites a breed that you need to think long and hard about before adopting. That said I will never have a home without one. Our Truman is the "King" of our home and rules supreme above the Maltese and the other dogs.
