All puppies sold by Exquisite Angels are sold on strict spay neuter agreement unless otherwise stated in this contract. Purebred pups are sold on spay/neuter agreement also unless otherwise stated and are placed with NO PAPERS. Exquisite Angels/Amanda Gray advocate the spaying and neutering of all pet quality dogs! This agreement is entered into by Amanda Gray, hereinafter known as the "Seller" and the undersigned "Buyer".
This warranty should NOT BE CONFUSED WITH HEALTH INSURANCE! The seller is never responsible under any circumstances for expenses incurred after sale (veterinarian bills, accessories, shots, toys, ect.).
It is understood that at the time of sale that this dog is a good representative of its breed and is suited as a companion animal (pet). Beginning training classes are highly recommended to insure a good relationship with the dog. If picked up in person this dog/puppy must be examined within 48 hours and a copy of that vet exam mailed to the seller within 7 days. If shipped, this puppy will come with an Interstate Health Certificate stating that it had been examined by my vet and found healthy at the time of sale. Any shipped puppy must be examined by the Buyer's vet within 48 hours and a copy of that vet exam sent to the Seller within 7 working days or this contract is VOID. All puppies MUST be given a pill for tapeworms by the new owners vet 1 to 2 weeks after shipment or pick up! In most cases puppies are too young to have this pill before leaving Seller!
The buyer agrees to take ownership seriously and responsibly. Vaccinations and general health care are to be provided by a vet & buyer understands that puppy will need vaccinations every 3 weeks until sixteen weeks of age. Buyer agrees to provide puppy with a Rabies at the appropriate State appointed time if it hasn't had one at the time of shipping (puppies in TN must be 12 weeks). Each State has varying regulations about the Rabies vaccine. After initial vaccines buyer agrees to provide health care as designated by his/her veterinarian. Buyer understands that small dogs CANNOT WAIT to be seen by a vet during illness & must be seen IMMEDIATELY.
The Buyer agrees to feed this puppy Eukanuba Puppy Small Breed or Eagle Brand Puppy (be sure to ask!) & to provide clean drinking water at all times. Any puppy sold by Amanda Gray is sold as an INDOOR PET ONLY!
This dog is expected to take up to two weeks, depending on age and temperament, before it becomes familiar with it's new people/environment. It is perfectly normal if the puppy chooses not to be sociable for a few days. The puppy is guaranteed to be free of any LIFE THREATENING problems that affect this puppy up until the puppy is ONE YEAR OLD. This must be certified in writing by two vets. Original puppy MUST BE SHIPPED BACK TO THE SELLER at the Buyer's expense. SELLER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY VET BILLS OR TRAVEL EXPENSES OR ANY OTHER CHARGES INCURRED AFTER THE SALE. This guarantee is for REPLACEMENT ONLY. The original purchase will be applied towards another pet quality puppy. Sex, color, and temperament of original puppy will be considered but NOT guaranteed in replacement puppy. Buyer gets what becomes available FIRST. Replacement puppy must be the SAME PRICE or less than original puppy. If a puppy is chosen that costs more, the buyer is responsible for the difference in price. Buyer is responsible for travel/shipment costs of replacement puppy. Seller is not responsible under any circumstances for expenses incurred after sale.
This dog is being placed as an indoor PET QUALITY animal. It is not guaranteed to be of show or breeding quality. Spay/Neuter is REQUIRED unless otherwise stated in this contract. AKC/CKC papers will not be given as they are for breeding purposes only. Designer (mixed) dogs should NEVER be bred!
If the buyer cannot keep this dog at any point during it's life it MUST be returned to the Seller. It cannot be sold or "given away" to anyone without the Seller's express written permission. If this dog is found to be abused or neglected at any point during it's life the Seller reserves the right to take immediate reposession.This MUST be accompanied by the SPCA's permission.
This contract DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING:
Eye problems, ear problems, skin problems, coccidia, giardia, worms, parasites of any form, bite, luxating patellas, hips, hernias, temperament , undescended testicles, Parvo, distemper, kennel cough, or any contagious disease, hernia's,ear mites, or moleras. Heart murmurs grade 4 or less.. SIZE IS NEVER GUARANTEED UNDER ANY CIRUCUMSTANCES! Any size estimate is just that...an ESTIMATE! There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this list of what is not covered!
***Teacup Exclusive*** A teacup puppy requires an autopsy paid for by the buyer by their own STATE. If the puppy died for any other reason than a congenital defect it is NOT covered. Teacups require a LOT of extra care and are fragile by nature. They are prone to health problems and a shortened life span. Buyer understands that puppies must be kept away from other unvaccinated dogs/puppies until they are through with puppy shots at age 16 weeks.
Amanda Gray/Exquisite Angels gives NO CASH REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! Buyer needs to be aware that puppies bite, chew, growl, poop, pee, and tear up everything but the kitchen sink and that all of this is NORMAL puppy behavior and if you are not ready for it then don't buy a puppy! PERIOD! Buyer agrees to make sure that no one in the home is allergic BEFORE sale. Buyer agrees to make sure with written statement that the Landlord agrees to house this dog on rental property.
Vet Bills
The buyer understands that vet bills can be extremely high & understands that the buyer is repsonsible for ANY AND ALL vet bills after sale reguardless of the reason for the visit! Owning a puppy is a big responsibility both financially and in time invested. The buyer understands that the stress related to moving to a new home despite intense socialization can cause a puppies immune system to be lowered. A negative stool sample can be positive just 24 hours after shipping! Buyer is reponsible for keeping an eye on puppies stools & taking appropriate actions with immediate vet care if loose or runny stools are noted. If you cannot afford vet bills do NOT BUY A PUPPY! Puppies will require several vet visits immediately following sale as puppies require shots & wormings every three weeks until sixteen weeks!
Any lawsuit filed will include ONLY the laws of the State Of Tennessee & any resulting court dates will be held ONLY in the State of Tennessee as close as possible to the Seller's residence! All other State laws about the sale of puppies EXCEPT for Tennessee are VOID.
