The following page must be READ, SIGNED, and submitted with PAYMENT before ANY PUPPY is shipped. There is some STRONG language and wording in this commitment page for a VERY GOOD REASON. Being flippant, or in any way UNSURE about the care or training of a puppy is a GOOD REASON NOT TO GET ONE!
I understand that a puppy lives for 13 to 18 years and I am commited to the LIFE of the puppy I am buying.
I have made SURE before shipment that neither I, nor any member of my household is allergic to dogs.
I have made SURE that my landlord allows pets and have a landlord permission letter to submit with this commitment sheet and my puppy contract.
I understand that the contract on this website is VALID with any puppy sold by Amanda Gray. I will fill out my contract and submit it with payment.
I understand that puppies are HARD WORK.
I understand that puppies can take months to housebreak properly.
I understand that puppies bite, chew, growl, poop, pee, and tear things up and that ALL of these behaviors are NORMAL for puppies and are NO REASON TO 'get rid" of the puppy.
I understand that growling and hand biting are VERY COMMON puppy problems and I understand that I must work to train my puppy to avoid this being an issue.
I am commited to whatever problems may arise with this puppy as far as training.
I understand that I, and I ALONE, am responsible for the housebreaking and general training of this puppy.
I understand that puppy classes, home training, and possible personal training may be needed and I accept this responsibility.
If I own other pets I understand that it is UP TO ME to socialize and acclimate the pets to each other.
I understand that the puppy may take days or even weeks to acclimate itself to my other pets.
I assume FULL RESPONSIBILITY for this acclimation between my new puppy and other pets.
I accept responsibility for finding my own resources and solving ANY problems with my puppy.
I understand that a puppy is NOT a fickle or "I'll try it out" decision. It is a PERMANANT LIFE ALTERING DECISION and I am ready to accept this responsibility.
I understand that Amanda Gray highly reccomends that I walk my puppy for 15 minutes each day on it's leash.
I understand that I must closely monitor what my puppy eats and drinks.
I understand that my puppy is too small to "wait and see" about illness. It MUST go to the vet if it becomes ill.
I understand that my puppy must be put on a shot schedule by MY OWN VET & that I must follow it for the life of the pup.
I understand that WORMING and FECALS are important and must be done often.
I understand that my puppy is MINE after purchase and I assume all responsibility for it.
I will buy whatever books are needed to help me train my puppy properly.
I understand that I cannot buy this puppy, keep it three days or even a week (for example) and then return it because I've suddenly realized how much work it is.
I fully understand that I must keep my puppy warm, safe, dry, and feed it a quality feed.
I understand that Amanda Gray, Castlemoon Shelties and Equisite Angels, has provided a website FULL of information and that it is up to ME to read through said information on the site.
I understand that the Payment and Shipping, Please Read, Puppy Contract, About Us, and THIS page are all MY RESPONSIBILITY TO READ AND ASK QUESTIONS BEORE SALE...not after!
