We are a small family of four living on two beautiful acres in rural West Tennessee. We breed ourselves on a VERY limited basis. Most dogs placed by us are NOT bred by us. We do, on occasion, have a litter here. Our adult dogs that are bred live right here in the house with us and are our constant companion. We have no "kennel" here. Just a happy home!
I am a spay/neuter advocate...most of my own dogs are spayed/neutered!
Most of the time, though, I place puppies for friends, prior grooming or vet clients, or close contacts I have made over a 24 year career with dogs. I own a total of nine dogs. Seven Shelties, and two Maltese. All of my dogs are indoor lifetime companions. For several years now I've had people calling me asking me to help them locate quality puppies. Years of grooming, showing, and working with dogs has given me a very good "eye" for quality puppies. With over twenty years of working for vets I also know what to look for and the right questions to ask when locating puppies (and I'd be more than happy to share that information with you...just email me anytime). I have also seen the local puppy mills buying up any reasonably priced female puppy that comes available in my area. In order to help people find QUALITY puppies from SMALL hobby breeders (where the parent dogs are housepets and extremely well taken care of) AND to help the local dogs find QUALITY indoor forever homes I've become increasingly busy placing Maltese, Maltipoos, and occasionally (usually only by request) Yorkies and Chihuahuas.
I am not a "Broker" or a pet store. I seldom have more than one or two puppies here at a time. Puppies are kept in a baby crib next to me both day and night. They are handled constantly leaving them highly socialized and totally acclimated to all household activities. My puppies are kept in immaculate conditions with all wastes cleaned immediately and the puppies are kept freshly bathed and groomed at all times. All of the puppies you see on these pages are hand picked pick of the litter puppies placed by me. Every photo you see here was taken by me. I am always happy to provide both vet and prior client references. The puppies I place come with an excellent health guarantee. Before they leave me they have usually been seen by my vet at least twice. They come with an Interstate Health Certificate ensuring new owners that they have no heart, lung, or parasite problems. Puppies are up to date on vaccinations and we use only the best in pet products including Vanguard 5 puppy shots and Eukanuba small bites. They come with a complete health record and all the instructions and guidelines that you would ever need along with 24/7 support by phone.
All of my puppies are honestly represented with both pictures and a personality description that can come only from living with them from day to day. We screen prospective owners and do our best to place the right puppy in the right home. ALL PUPPIES ARE PLACED ON SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACTS. We do NOT want our babies bred under any circumstances. No designer puppy comes with any type of registration (as they should ALWAYS be spayed/netuered). We always reserve the right to refuse the sale of any puppy.
